-
1
Create a superflat world. This is good for space and to not have to dig down hills.
- If you'd like a challenge, you can also make your Hunger Games Map in a normal world.
-
2
Decide what kind of world you want it to be. For example, volcanoes, villages, forests (which are good for slender maps), castles, boats, or even a mansion are all good options.
-
3
Get building! This is a good opportunity for friends to come in your world, and to get them to help you build!
-
4
Hide chests. Put some food, armor, swords, bows and arrows inside of them.
-
5
Create a boundary. This is so no one could run off during a round of The Hunger Games. If you'd prefer an easier version, use a fence and if you'd prefer an expert version, make a wall of blocks.
-
6
Test it with friends. If both you and they enjoy your world, follow the next step! If you or your friends end up not liking the game or noticing something is wrong, make changes or add new features to make it more exciting.
-
7
Put the game up for download! If you followed step 6, do this step. If not, redo step 6 until you're satisfied.
-
8
Know that your map is now complete!

Question
I need a big Hunger Games but I want it to be easy to build -- what do I do?
Use the world that you spawned in to your advantage. For example, place chests and maybe traps around the world, but you don't need to build a lot of buildings.

Question
How do you down load a Hunger Games map?
Search for the Minecraft map you want in your browser. Click download. Once you download the zipfile, push your window key and the R key at the same time. Do not close your browser tab! A search box will come up, type %appdata% in it.Click OK. Once you have done that, choose the .minecraft folder. Choose the Saves folder. Click and drag the zipfile you have downloaded through your browser over the folder icon you have at the bottom of your screen. Do not let go! The files you opened should pop up on your screen again -- drop the file inside the Saves file that should be open. Put the folder inside the first in Saves. Done.

Try and build your map in Creative Mode so you have access to any resource you need, but try testing it out in Survival Mode.
-
Try not to add diamond tools or armor! Try using wooden, stone, gold or rarely, iron. For armor, use leather, chain metal, gold, or again, rarely, iron.
-
If you're building the world on Minecraft PC edition, make a few caves and if possible, place mob spawners in the caves.

When you are making the boundary, make sure that there is no way to be able to jump or climb over the boundary and escape.
